Edgar Wright’s Baby Driver is a creative and colourful blend of a musical within a fast action thriller. The protagonist ‘Baby’ (Ansel Elgort) is an extremely talented getaway driver for illegal bank heists. We journey with Baby in his struggles to escape this lifestyle alongside feelings of love and reflection. Wright keeps us arrested visually and also with the iconic selection of sound. Comparable to Heat (1995), action sequences are explosive. Baby Driver is another memorable piece of film from Wright.
